Ruuvi provides user-friendly environmental monitoring systems consisting of Bluetooth sensors, a mobile app, the Ruuvi Gateway router, and Ruuvi Cloud services. The company’s flagship product, RuuviTag, is a versatile wireless sensor that measures temperature, humidity, air pressure, and motion.

The story of Ruuvi began in 1999 when childhood neighbours Lauri and Henri embarked on their first computer projects together.

In 2010, Lauri launched an embedded electronics community site for Finnish enthusiasts, marking the first milestone under the Ruuvi brand.

After years of development and a clear vision to bring something new to the electronics market, Ruuvi Innovations Ltd (Oy) was founded in 2016. That same year, the company’s flagship product, RuuviTag, achieved remarkable success through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign.
