Compare Sensors in Ruuvi Station Web

In the Ruuvi Station Web App, users have the option to compare sensors via a dedicated page. This handy feature allows you to effortlessly examine and contrast measurement data from chosen sensor devices in a unified chart. Moreover, you can export the compared data into a file compatible with popular spreadsheet applications like Excel.

Simply choose Compare from the top menu to access this feature in Ruuvi Station Web.

A Ruuvi Gateway router and paid Ruuvi Cloud subscription is required to access history data in Ruuvi Station Web.

Make a selection and fetch sensor measurement data to chart

You can select multiple sensors from the dropdown list to compare their data.

To get started, first select the sensor devices you’re interested in. Next, choose the specific sensor unit you want to compare and set the date range using the options at the top right corner of the chart. Finally, tap “Compare” to retrieve the selected data onto the chart.



Please be patient as downloading data from Ruuvi Cloud may require a few moments. Don’t leave this page until data fetching is completed.

Analyzing the Comparison Chart in Ruuvi Station Web

When using Ruuvi Station Web on a desktop browser, you can hover your mouse over the chart to access detailed information about a particular datapoint. This data will be visible below the chart. Conversely, on mobile devices, tap on the chart to choose a datapoint and view its details.

To zoom in on the chart, on a desktop computer, you can simply select the desired area with your mouse. Double-clicking on the chart will reset the view to its original size. On mobile devices, utilize pinch gestures to zoom in and out within the selected timeline.

In the chart, selected sensor measurements are differentiated by color, and their corresponding legends are displayed below the chart by default. Colors are assigned automatically and cannot be changed by the user.

Exporting comparison chart to a file in Ruuvi Station Web

In Ruuvi Station Web, you are able to export Comparison chart data to various types of files.

When you open an exported Comparison chart .CSV or .XLSX file in a compatible spreadsheet application, the data from selected sensors will be displayed in adjacent columns to facilitate easy comparison. Please note that due to the asynchronous nature of sensor data collection, the raw data in the columns will rarely align in the spreadsheet.

PDF file format export is not available in Compare sensors page.
