Visible measurements feature is currently in beta for Ruuvi Station Android and coming soon to Ruuvi Station WebUI and Ruuvi Station iOS.
Ruuvi Station lets you easily customise your sensor cards using the Visible measurements feature in Sensor Settings, where you can show, hide, and organise all available measurements for each individual sensor.
This feature applies to:
Dashboard sensor cards
Full sensor cards
Charts in History view
Alert settings in Sensor Settings
Visible measurement settings are applied locally to each sensor card and automatically synchronised via Ruuvi Cloud across all devices where the same Ruuvi account is signed in to the Ruuvi Station app when the specific sensor ownership is claimed.
Defaults
By default, every sensor card’s Visible measurements configuration is set to Use default. When this option is set to disabled, a custom visible measurements configuration will be applied according to the Visible measurements and Hidden measurements list on this page.
Showing and hiding measurements in visibility settings
To add a measurement to the Visible Measurements list, tap the + icon next to it under Hidden measurements.
To remove a measurement, tap the × icon next to it in the Visible measurements list to move it to the Hidden measurements list. If the measurement has an active alert, a confirmation popup will appear notifying you that the associated alert will be disabled and hidden from the Sensor Settings page.
A preview of the dashboard image card is shown at the top of the Visible measurements page to help you with the configuration process.
Ordering measurements in visible measurements list
Simply drag and drop any measurement on the Visible measurements list to reorder measurements shown on sensor cards, history view page and alert settings.
Dashboard cards, history view and alerts follow custom Visible measurements configuration when custom ordering is enabled on the Visible measurements page for an individual sensor.
Alerts and visibility
Alert ordering on Sensor Settings page follows visible measurements configuration. A confirmation popup appears when removing a measurement with an active alert, notifying you that the alert will be disabled and hidden from the Sensor Settings page.
Please note that not all measurements support alerts yet. These are coming in a later update.
Sharing sensors with custom visible measurements configuration
When a sensor with custom Visible measurements configuration is shared with another user (requires Ruuvi Gateway), those settings are included in the shared configuration.
The recipient cannot view or modify the visible measurement settings. Any changes made by the sensor owner are automatically updated and synchronised across all shared instances when the user is signed in to the Ruuvi Station app.
Limitations of synchronising measurement history from the RuuviTag’s internal memory
Please note that when using standard RuuviTag firmware, not all measurements are recorded to Ruuvi sensor internal memory, which means that some measurement data can not be synchronised from the sensor on the history view page.
