Ruuvi has worked together with mesh protocol creator Wirepas for almost three years now. RuuviTags can run their proprietary mesh protocol stack instead of the Bluetooth stack which we normally use. This enables large battery-powered low-power mesh sensor networks. Those kinds of networks aren’t and won’t be possible to build with Bluetooth Mesh protocol. The market potential is huge.
In the end of June 2018 Wirepas organised a yearly 3-day Wirepas GO event for their partners and customers. In June 26th Henri, Otso and me headed to Clarion Hotel, Helsinki, where the event took place.
For Ruuvi, the event was extremely beneficial. We met with several companies who are using RuuviTags in their end-products and also gained awesome new connections and business leads. Big things are coming.

RuuviTag is a Bluetooth sensor that monitors environmental conditions and sends the data directly to your mobile device. The Ruuvi Station mobile app allows you to view real-time accurate measurements and historical graphs. The app also provides customisable alerts to notify you of critical conditions, such as a melting freezer, excessively high bedroom temperatures that could disrupt sleep, or elevated humidity levels in your basement.
