Ruuvi Connector is a standardised expansion connector and cable system that takes sensor prototyping to the next level. Compatible connectors are available on all RuuviTag Pro sensors and Ruuvi Gateway routers. Note that the normal white RuuviTag sensors don’t have Ruuvi Connector flat cable connectors!
Ruuvi Connector cables have 8 pins (6 signals + VDD + GND). This allows using not just simple I2C sensors but also more powerful SPI sensors with interrupt signals.
By using Ruuvi Connectors, you can:
Connect compatible external boards and sensors to your Ruuvi products
Design your own expansion boards and connect them to Ruuvi products
Feed your battery powered Ruuvi product from an external power source
The package includes:
2 x Ruuvi Connector breakout board
2 x 100mm length black flat cable
2 x 250mm length black flat cable
2 x 500mm length black flat cable
Note that this product is for prototyping with Ruuvi products that include Ruuvi Connector cable connectors (RuuviTag Pro and Ruuvi Gateway only).
Delivery package of this product doesn’t include comprehensive manuals or tutorials on how to use the Ruuvi Connector system. Only hardware parts are included in the delivery. A custom firmware is required.
